Mari Solaris
Mari Solaris is a Hamburg-based singer and interdisciplinary musician whose work revolves around voice, atmosphere and the emotional power of sound.
Rooted in a deep musical education, her artistic path developed above all through intuition and curiosity – through listening, experimentation and a lasting openness to different musical cultures, styles and forms of expression. She sought knowledge and skills where expression demanded it. Many of her works begin with inner imagery and emotional movement, gradually unfolding into music.
Yet sound became far more than her own creative work: for a long time, she dedicated herself to helping people find their own voice – through vocal coaching, relaxation work and the interplay of body, breath and voice.
Collaborating with musicians from different artistic backgrounds, she created songs and layered sound works – always guided by atmosphere, emotional honesty and a curiosity for uncharted personal musical ground.
After a long period shaped by motherhood, she gradually returned to her artistic work from 2025 onward. New pieces emerged alongside a reconnection with earlier texts, unfinished fragments and ideas from different phases of life.
At the center of her work remains the desire to create sonic spaces that feel truthful, alive and open – for all who wish to dive in.
